Teaching methodologies/activity outline
Is proposed a receipt to do it by children step by step meanwhile an adult asks questions.
Step 1. Prepare ingredients
Step 2. Prepare materials
Step 3. In a bowl: whisk the eggs
Step 4. Add oil and syrup
Step 5. Add flour and yeast
Step 6. Add salt, cinnamon and nutmeg
Step 7. Put the dough In the mould
Step 8. Bake for 30 minutes in the oven!
Step 9. Test if the cake is cooked with a toothpick
Question 1: What’s the meaning of a clean toothpick?
Question 2: What do you think happens to the dough?
Question 3: Will the dough rise? Why?
Question 4: Why the yeast?
Step 10. It’s ready to eat!
