Chiedete agli studenti di nominare oggetti caldi e freddi e di registrarli sulla lavagna in due colonne &#8211; Caldo\/Freddo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Chiedete agli alunni come classe di discutere le loro bevande calde.<br><em>Domande campione<\/em>: Qual \u00e8 la tua bevanda calda preferita? Come si prepara una bevanda calda? Cosa succede quando aggiungi il latte al t\u00e8 o al caff\u00e8? Cosa succederebbe ad una cioccolata calda se aspettassi un po&#8217; di tempo prima di berla?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Spiega agli alunni che gli isolanti sono materiali che non sono in grado di far passare l&#8217;energia termica attraverso di loro, quindi sono molto bravi a mantenere le cose calde. Informare gli studenti che ogni gruppo ricever\u00e0 la stessa quantit\u00e0 di t\u00e8 (circa 150 ml).<br>La sfida per il gruppo \u00e8 quella di fare un progetto su come intendono mantenere caldo il loro t\u00e8. Incoraggiare gli alunni a pensare a quanto segue:<br><em>quale tipo di tazza useranno?<\/em><br><em>quali materiali useranno per avvolgere la tazza?<\/em><br><em>come avvolgeranno i materiali intorno alla tazza?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Mostra agli studenti alcuni dei materiali raccolti per l&#8217;esperimento e fai una discussione di classe su quali tipi di materiali pensano possano essere buoni per mantenere il t\u00e8 caldo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Date ad ogni gruppo un foglio di carta, chiedendo loro di pianificare e disegnare il loro progetto. Chiedete loro di spiegare il ragionamento che sta dietro al loro progetto e discutetene in classe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Dare agli alunni il tempo di realizzare il loro disegno, scegliendo i materiali come richiesto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Poi prepara una teiera di t\u00e8, parlando attraverso i passi con gli alunni &#8211; mettere la bustina di t\u00e8 nella teiera, far bollire l&#8217;acqua, versare l&#8217;acqua calda, mescolare il t\u00e8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Lasciate raffreddare un po&#8217; il t\u00e8 in modo che non sia troppo caldo per gli alunni e sia appena tiepido.<br>Informare gli alunni che usiamo un termometro per misurare quanto \u00e8 caldo o freddo qualcosa.<br>Poi prendi la temperatura del t\u00e8. Spiega agli alunni come si legge la temperatura su un termometro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Chiedere ai gruppi di portare il loro aggeggio in cima alla classe e versare 150 ml di t\u00e8 in ogni contenitore. Date agli alunni la possibilit\u00e0 di finire il loro progetto, per esempio, se vogliono coprire la parte superiore del loro contenitore con del materiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Aspettate da 45 minuti a un&#8217;ora e poi prendete la temperatura della tazza di t\u00e8 di ogni gruppo. Discutete i risultati come classe. Quali materiali hanno funzionato meglio come isolanti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>La scienza dietro agli isolanti:<\/strong><br>&#8211; Il calore \u00e8 un tipo di energia e si sposta da un oggetto pi\u00f9 caldo a uno pi\u00f9 freddo.<br>&#8211; Gli isolanti sono materiali che sono poveri nel lasciar passare l&#8217;energia termica attraverso di loro, quindi sono ottimi per mantenere le cose calde.<br>&#8211; Il foglio di alluminio \u00e8 un ottimo isolante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; L&#8217;ovatta e il pluriball sono anche buoni isolanti.<br>&#8211; La carta di giornale \u00e8 anche un buon isolante. \u00c8 molto efficace quando \u00e8 accartocciato perch\u00e9 intrappola anche l&#8217;aria e l&#8217;aria intrappolata \u00e8 anche un buon isolante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conclusione:<\/strong><br>Chiedete agli alunni di creare un collage di un oggetto caldo o freddo usando vari tessuti e fibre.
